# Supported platforms

## Agents

Tessl supports multiple coding agents through MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration.

| Agent | Skills | Rules | MCP |
| ------------------------------ | ------ | ----- | --- |
| **Claude Code** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Cursor** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Codex** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Gemini CLI** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **Antigravity** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **GitHub Copilot CLI** | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| **GitHub Copilot for VS Code** | Yes | Yes | Yes |

When `tessl init` detects or you select any of the agents above (**Claude Code**, **Cursor**, **Codex**, **Gemini CLI**, **Antigravity**, **GitHub Copilot CLI**, **GitHub Copilot for VS Code**), it configures them automatically.

Other agents that support MCP can also be manually configured to work with Tessl. See [Custom agent setup](/reference/custom-agent-setup.md) for detailed instructions.

For more details on agent installation, see the [init command](/reference/cli-commands.md#tessl-init).

## Node runtime

- You need to have a modern version of Node.js installed (we use **v22.17.0 or higher**)

## Operating system

- **Supported**: Mac, Linux, Windows

On Windows, skills are linked with directory junctions rather than symbolic links. If you move or rename your project folder, run `tessl install` again to restore the links. See [Skills not found after moving the project folder on Windows](/reference/troubleshooting.md#skills-not-found-after-moving-the-project-folder-on-windows).
