Supported platforms
Agents
Tessl supports multiple coding agents through MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration.
When tessl init detects or you select any of the agents above (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot CLI, GitHub Copilot for VS Code), it configures them automatically.
Other agents that support MCP can also be manually configured to work with Tessl. See Custom agent setup for detailed instructions.
For more details on agent installation, see the init command.
Node runtime
- You need to have a modern version of Node.js installed (we use v22.17.0 or higher)
Operating system
- Supported: Mac, Linux, Windows
On Windows, skills are linked with directory junctions rather than symbolic links. If you move or rename your project folder, run tessl install again to restore the links. See Skills not found after moving the project folder on Windows.
